Doesn't everybody begin a big DIY project right before a vacation?*
We're off to Scotland tomorrow for almost 3 weeks.
Yet we tore apart our master bath 2 weeks ago. Painting is almost
finished and the vanity arrived a bit late which created no end
of frustration. as we had to have it here in order to chose the
color of Marmoleum that would look best.
Now, after hours of painting I am ready for this vacation!

When we get back we'll finish the bathroom!

hop pickers.....but later there were lots of people!

Our Hops Will Be Harvested Monday!
We will be taking them to the Lucky Lab Brew Pub.
It's their annual Hop Day where we all take our
hops to donate. In return, we drink free ales
while picking all the hops off the vines
and eat free tasty bites. Six weeks from now we
will return and drink a few pints of our hops beer-
aptly named Mutt! It's a win win!

The Rodeo Was Fun Last Saturday!

Last Saturday we were in Weed California visiting our friends.
Every year we go to the Golden State Fair in Yreka and attend
almost all of the evening events. The rodeo is one of my favorites!
