The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

I see desserts in my future

I went up to our community garden space today.

Checked out all the perennial plants coming up.

Yippee- there's rhubarb and the Spring asparagus!

I remember grandma making rhubarb pie when i was little. Mom does as well. But for some reason rhubarb makes me think of grandma. I thnk it is because she grew it in her yard.

Me too! Yummy, yummy and some more good things to create! I just got Gesine's great inspiring and delightful book, "Sugarbaby!"

I don't cook much these day, but a good rhubarb pie would make it worth finding my way back to the kitchen.

I _love_ rhubarb!! Reminds me of my grannie too. She'd make pies and jellies from it, or just cut me off a stalk and salt it. Yumm-o!

Growing up, I didn't like rhubarb. As an adult, I haven't had the opportunity to try it. My dad loves it though!

Thanks for playing 6WS!

I love rhubarb. It doesn't grow here in the Houston area, so far as I know, and most people here have never eaten it.

Good photo, with the camera down low.
