Finally our Oak trees have leaves!

Timber!
Russell and one of our neighbors
took out the Oak tree that was growing
next to our bedroom balcony.
We begin the construction on our addition
to the house next week and the tree would
have been in the way. It was not a large
tree but the root system would have impacted
the foundation. This removal also enables Lucy
to be able to go outside without getting into trouble!
We will be adding a main floor master bedroom and bath
which will make the house more usable for us and
will make it more marketable for the future.
(no- we are NOT moving anytime soon!)

Part of our forest
We have 10 acres and some of it is forest.
There are Sugar Pines, Ponderosa Pines,
Cedars, Douglas Firs and of course Oak trees.
