The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Very plump indeed!
Im thinking it may need some housekeeping.

Bethe77...I think the telephone pole might collapse without all the paper keeping it upright! Thanks for visiting!

This is a great find. So funny that it has so many layers of posters on it.

That's fun! The shadow really shows how thick the posters have become, it'll be a bit like an archaeological dig at some stage if it keeps going like that.

What an interesting photo capture!! Some, I wonder how long they've been hanging there.

I also like the bright, discarded bits of orange and their subtle shadows!

SHADOW SINGER

Of shadows an old man did sing;
He chanted in Guelph and Beijing;
The shade was his friend,
He loved it no end—
It made him feel rich as a king!

It's such a long time since I even saw a telephone pole!

hanks everyone for your nice comments-
It's funny- as there are scads of these layered upon layers telephone poles. At one point the city tried to make the folks take the posters down....good luck doing that!
So there are probably hundreds of these poles with ancient history under current news.

They were just trying to keep the pole warm. :)
