The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Democracy at Work

Kathe, this reminds me of what we used to call a 'rump convention.' I don't hear much about them any more but they did make one of my Political Science class topics.

The 'Clackistani Rebels' tells me not Southern Rebels so I'm guessing a 'Tea Party' meeting. We have those here although I've not attended.

Your room looks tame compared to my 'office'. I'd hate to have to move it and probably would have a giant throw-away event!

My daughter came to help me clean out my office at work when I retired. It took three days. We must have set more than 300 college textbooks, older editions than what we were using, out in the hall. Students scarfed up every one of those.

Since this is yesterday's post still, I'm thinking you may have your stuff gone. If not and your computer is still up you can post ahead of time. They won't post until the time you set.

(Use the "Post Options" button on the bottom, time and day of post will be on the lower right. Don't ever post it and then go back to put it in draft until the time. It only will post date but stay published if you do that.).
