Hot Air Balloons in the Sky!
This weekend the town of Montague California
celebrated it's annual Hot Air Balloon Fair.
We got up early and drove the 30 some miles
to see these wonderful balloons.

they are beautiful flying creatures...
I rode in one once, a birthday gift from the Ex - 3 hours over New English Fall Foliage - and will never forget the sensation; as close to floating silently as a human can get, I guess (except when they had to fire up the gas flame for altitude). Beautiful.
Love those balloons, you can sometimes hear them coming before you see them, very exciting.
