The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Garlic Shooting Up to the Sky
Besides rhubarb and asparagus beaming up,
there is lots of garlic coming up where I missed
picking it last spring- yay! And it's sunny at last!
I love love this shadow shot. I planted garlic for the first time last fall, and my shoots are coming up too, but they are individual, not clumping like yours. what does that mean? your shoots appear almost grassy. whatever, they make for some really fun shadows! and fresh garlic is the best. happy SSS, and I hope your weekend is wonderful.
Wow that's some impressive garlic you have growing there! My garlic is growing the same way as Miss Becky's garlic by the sounds of it. I want thriving clumpy garlic like yours! Great shot too!

Such a clever idea and a wonderful shot. Mickie
Oh boy, you have both - sun and fresh garlic of your own - I love both of them! :)
What a fun shadow shot!! I love garlic, so I wish I had some growing in my yard.
So pretty!
Would you please drop by and see my shadows? Would love to see you!
Great shot! I can't wait for things to start popping up in my garden :)
Nice having a backdrop for the grass shadow!
