The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

De Ponte Vineyard in Dayton Oregon

Luck of the Draw

We've had our fair share of rain this year.

It's almost June and it's soggy out here.

But we don't complain-we've had it easy

No tempests, no quakes to make us queasy

We've been lucky-gotten off light

Lucky to sleep in our own beds at night.

Grapes for wine?
Wonderful!
Yes Im a little soggy and so wish God would turn up the heat.
We have been blessed weather wise compared to many others across the states.
Blessings

Thanks for those snapshots. A very timely piece. I like how you tied in a thankfulness at the end, it was clever and transitioned very nicely within the piece. Thanks again.

Rain? What's that? We haven't had a drop since about February. Send some south...okay?

Would love to have a huge vineyard...wouldn't that be fun? To sell your own?!!!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, to dream.

Oh, by the way, now I'm craving radishes!!! [I see your post below as I type]

And, yes, our amaryllis are planted outdoors. I have several. Thanks, for visiting.

What a lovely outlook! I am lucky to be in Sweden natural disasters almost nonexistent, winter however tends to really linger!

There's not much problem unless you're close to a high rising river. If the rains come while the snows are melting then you might have floods. Beautiful vineyard.
