The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Photo #105

Sun shining on the hummingbird feeder
We still have snow on the ground, but lots more sunshine
than where we used to live in Oregon.
It's uplifting to live here.

In shadow the feeder is so artistic - we see it floating on the wall and imagine the little birds floating up to it foe dinner...cool!

Good shadow of the feeder. I haven't seen any hummingbirds yet, but I haven't really been watching for them.

No snow here but so cold! The skies are blue and the blossom beautiful so there's a lot to be grateful for.

I just commented to Sylvia that my spirit felt lighter today because of the beautiful sunshine.
I need to get my feeder down and cleaned up!
