The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Well, you certainly got up close and personal with the blades of grass and their shadows!

On our way to Portland in a few hours, back on Monday! The big city ~ yea! Now, we have no chance but to embrace the 'new blogger' ... I really don't enjoy it one little bit. I've actually lost some of my enthusiasm for posting. It is beautiful in Bend now .. Spring has arrived?

Great shadow shot for the day, Kathe! It is getting to that time of year, isn't it? Have a great weekend!

Great angle on this shot! We've already had to mow several times.

The cold of winter leaves a brownish lawn, so when Spring does arrive, we are much happier to see the new green grass that grows than we are not satisfied tha mowing it. The new lawn is just perfect at any height!

LOL This is a great shot. Ours looked like that until last night. :)

My Beloved Sandra and I have decided that, this year, we're contributing to the local economy and paying somebody to mow for us. I don't know what I'll do with all that free time, but I'm sure she'll figure it out for me.

Nice Shadow Shot. Yes, time for you to think about the lawnmower for sure! I use a little push, reel mower at our cabin and love the feel of really (reely?!) cutting the grass!! Happy SSS.

Yeah ours has had one haircut already but it's been too wet to do much lately. I think it's called Spring.

It's that time here too - but we've had so much rain that the grass is never dry enough to cut!
