These look like old insulators for electric utility poles, but whatever they are, they make nifty shadows!

they are about 4 inches tall so I was thinking old wooden corks? for a wooden barrel- but perhaps they are old telephone pole equipment?

I was wondering what they were, thinking they were some old stone carving ... then I scrollled down to your comment and saw how small they were. The first commentator is probably right.

Very intriguing! They look almost like gigantic drill bits, but I don't think they'd be very effective, made of wood :)
