The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Sunny days lead to great shadows!

Merry Christmas shoppping everyone!
Today we'll go to our local Craft Fair
and I hope to do all my shopping there-
Here's to shopping local and supporting local businesses
instead of corporations that import from China.
That's been my mantra now for about 10 years.

Wonderful, sharp shadow shots for the day, Kathe!! I do so agree with your mantra, too!! Have a great shopping trip to the Craft Fair!! Sounds like fun to me!!!

Too much junk gets shipped in from the other side of the Pacific - of junk quality too. A local craftsman makes better and longer lasting items. Quality is what we seek...great looking shadows in the room, a room of classic style!

Lovely shadow patterns. And good for you, shopping local and hand-made!

I read what you wrote so fast I thought you said, "Sundays lead to great shadows." And then I re-read and saw my error! I do enjoy your shadows, whether it's Sunday or not!

Intriguing shadows! The first one has intriguing definition - as if still reaching to form the final shape and love the shadow detail in the last photo!
