The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Photo #55.5

Take two....
After reading Eric Alder's comment on Photo #55, I went back
outside and took another photo of the snowy chair. I agree
that the pure white snow is more appealing to me than the
early morning blue tinged snow.
Thanks Eric!

The contrast is stronger, for sure. Another dandy version, kindof like a Before and After.

But your other pic was perfectly fine too. Some pics really work with that blue hue - yours did!

The snow looks so beautiful as does this photo. I've never yet experienced snow but hope that someday I will.

It is amazing the difference it makes without the blue tinge. I wouldn't have thought it but now I can see that this second photo is so much more effective.

I like both...
I like the white one because of the green needles next to it, but I like the blue one because its so amazing its blue...

Yes, I like the natural light best too. It not only purifies the snow but it really enhances the different patterns made by the ferns and the chair seat and swirly arm. It is wonderful.
