The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Photo #57

Yesterday I walked down the trail.
This trail leads to the Willamette River.
The bridge was built in 1920 to replace
the original wooden covered bridge.
That bridge crossed the creek on
Old River Road much closer to the river.

Very cool! I just read yesterday that a 100-yr old bridge near where I grew up is being removed and a newer, wider, higher bridge put in its place.

Thanks for playing 6WS!

this is so lovely, and we have a bridge very similiar to this (sadly closed for repairs) and I only wish the area around it was more like yours...snowless!
