The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Yesterday we made pickles....

They'll be ready in 6 weeks-

12 are for our friends in Weed

and 12 are for my son Paul....

Next week we'll make 12 more for us.

Yummy hot and spicy.....

...and you can't beat their flavor. Homemade canning is just tops!! My mom used to make her own, and we had a root cellar that stored everything under the sun for months!!! Oh, you make me drool!!

Hope your week ahead treats you well.

Those look wonderful - I love pickles!!! For me, the more sour the better they are. :)

How do you make them?

My shadows, hope you can visit and see. Have a great week ahead!

Nothing like home grown and canned fruits and veggies. They are so much tastier and you KNOW what is inside them.
Your pickles look great, I am sure you and your family will enjoy them.
The jars are creating nice shadows too!
