The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Photo #315

We are headed home this afternoon

After 20 wonderful days here in Mexico we must
pack our sunscreen, mosquito repellant,
damp bathing suits and a laptop full of photos.
Adios Mexico until next November.

I'm jealous, Kathe! I know you had fun. Traveling is fun but lounging on the beach is real fun!
Happy 6WS!

The toes look so relaxed!

Shadow, shadow, if I could,
I would meet you in the wood,
Where the frenzied fairies play
In the blazing light of day.

But, dear shadow, I dare not
Go to that secluded spot,
For I fear the woodland path
And what’s more, the fairies’ wrath!

A nice way to end a glorious vacation, resting in the shadows.
