The creative act lasts but a brief moment, a lightning instant of give-and-take, just long enough for you to level the camera and to trap the fleeting prey in your little box.

Spring shadows on unknown perennial

Embarrasing not to know the name of this

lovely plant that appears every year.

So help me identify this please!

Since I posted this I have found out

what this plant is:

Lady's Mantle!

Second shadow shot is of Bufo, our toad sculpture
in the backyard. He appears to be jumping for
joy over this very beautiful day. Our good
friend Keith Jellum created Bufo.

Love Bufo! Sorry, I can't help with the plants. Love them all around me, but don't in the slightest many of the names. :)

Super!! I'm thinking maybe, perhaps, this is a geranium of some kind? Love the toad. I'll call him Thadeus from Wind and the Willows.

Ribbit...hope you can join me sometime today! Happy week.

I'm jumping for joy along with your toad, because the school year is almost over!

MY BLINGLESS SHADOW

A shadow’s an odd sort of thing;
It might have a nose or a wing,
A tail like a dog,
A bump like a log,
But one thing it has not is bling!

I'm with Anni on the plant...perhaps some sort of geranium/pergola? (spoken by someone with a brown thumb acting like they know what they're talking about!).

Your frog sculpture is fun!

I must say, Kathe, that sculpture is really cool. It really made me smile just looking at it dancing there. lol

I think I failed to hit post when I tried commenting the first time. Feel free to delete one if you end up with two from me.

I'm with Anni in thinking your plant is some sort of Geranium/Pergola. But then I have a brown thumb and probably don't know what I'm talking about. (which hasn't stopped me from speaking with authority before!)
